Incoming District Governor Brian Moore with one of our 2008 South Placer Rotary Fishing participants. The project includes over 40 elementary school kids learning how to fish.
Welcome to the Rotary Club of South Placer (Rocklin, CA). Our planning team has worked very hard to establish this new club, and we are all happy to be a part of it. What a great opportunity to serve South Placer County.
The vision for our club, like other Rotary clubs, is service over self, giving back to the community, and having fun!
Rotary club membership represents a cross-section of the community's business and professional men and women from a variety of active professions and vocations--all with a willingness to serve their community selflessly as the Rotary motto demands:
"Service above self."
Rotary gives back to our community in several ways, through local schools, little league baseball, boys and girls scouts, and general grant funding for many other causes.
We are fortunate to have several new members and some seasoned Rotarians in our new club. Together, we all will find our own place to serve our community and our fellow Rotarians.
